Kaliii Breaks Down Girls Want Boys Who STFU And Her Plan To Drop A New Project This Year

Kaliii pulled up to The Baller Alert Show to talk about her new single, “Girls Want Boys Who STFU,” and she let hosts Ferrari Simmons and YouKnowBT know she’s planning to drop a new project before the year is out.

That’s big news for her fans. The Atlanta rapper hasn’t released a full project since her “FCK GIRL SZN” EP in October 2023, and “Girls Want Boys Who STFU,” which came out in August, is her first solo single since “Dat Girl” in June 2025.

A lot of that time went to motherhood. Kaliii stepped back from music to focus on her daughter, and she told the hosts that becoming a mom completely shifted her priorities. Her goals used to be all about her. Now she’s balancing her own growth with raising her little girl, and she said that takes a level of patience and emotional maturity she didn’t have before.

She lit up talking about her daughter, describing her as independent, playful, and full of personality. She also said her daughter is a big part of what’s driving her comeback. Kaliii confirmed she’s newly single, and she isn’t rushing into anything. Right now her focus is on herself, her daughter, and her career. She said she keeps things cordial when it comes to co-parenting because her daughter’s stability comes first, and she handled that part of the conversation without any drama.

She also has strong opinions on how relationships should work. Kaliii isn’t buying the 50/50 idea. She said a real relationship takes 100% from both people, and that means communicating honestly, holding each other accountable, and doing the work to repair things when they go wrong. She stressed that healing matters too, and that understanding each other gets a couple further than pointing fingers.
The conversation turned to men as well, including how some are learning to heal, work through conflict without getting aggressive, and realize their partner isn’t the enemy.

That energy runs straight through “Girls Want Boys Who STFU.” The song takes aim at men who criticize women or tell them how to act while bringing nothing to the table themselves. Kaliii told the hosts the message is simple: if a man isn’t supportive and isn’t pulling his weight, he can keep his opinions to himself.

The group also got into how modern relationships are shaped by social media noise, and how much the rap game has changed with a new wave of women rappers coming up.

Kaliii said she’s approaching music differently this time. She’s no longer chasing trends or trying to prove anything to anybody. She’s making music because she genuinely loves it, and after time away, getting back in the studio has given her a renewed sense of who she is as an artist.

Kaliii first broke out on TikTok with “Do a B” in 2020 and scored her biggest hit with 2023’s “Area Codes,” which went platinum. With a new single out and a project on the way, she’s making it clear she’s ready for her next chapter.

The Baller Alert Show is hosted by Ferrari Simmons and YouKnowBT and is available on YouTube, iHeart, and Apple Podcasts.
