Ozzy Osbourne Doesn’t Get Why The Kardashians Are Famous: “They Don’t Do Anything”

Ozzy Osbourne anticipates a lifespan of no more than ten years following his health challenges.

On Thursday, Ozzy revealed to Rolling Stone UK the conversation he had with his wife, Sharon Osbourne when she expressed concern about a joint he had smoked.

“‘How long do you want me to f*cking live for?!’” he told Sharon. “‘At best, I’ve got 10 years left and when you’re older, time picks up speed.’”

Ozzy, who previously mentioned having an assisted suicide agreement with Sharon, also conveyed to the magazine that he doesn’t dread death but also don’t want to experience a prolonged, agonizing, and unhappy existence.

“I like the idea that if you have a terminal illness, you can go to a place in Switzerland and get it done quickly,” Ozzy added. “I saw my father die of cancer.”

Ozzy was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2003 but didn’t disclose the news until 2020. Nevertheless, his health deteriorated further following a surgical procedure in June 2022. Additionally, Ozzy underwent a fourth spinal surgery in an attempt to address the damage resulting from a fall he suffered in 2019. This fall impacted the metal rods that had been implanted in his body following a bike accident in 2003.

Ozzy made a brief return to the stage in August 2022 but approximately six months later, he declared his retirement from touring due to his deteriorating health. Nevertheless, he expressed his desire to give one final performance for his devoted fans.

“That’s one of the things I’ve been the most f*cking pissed off at: I never got the chance to say goodbye or thank you,” he said. “Because my fans are what it’s all about. If I can just do a few gigs … For whatever reason, that’s my goal to work to. To do those shows.”
