Chrisean Rock is pushing back against the labels people have placed on her young son while acknowledging that he is working through challenges at his own pace.

During her latest appearance on “The Jason Lee Show,” Rock opened up about raising Chrisean Jr. and the constant online discussion surrounding his development. When Jason Lee asked how she plans to support her son through the challenges people have noticed, Rock said she believes time, therapy, and faith will play a major role.“Well, he’s just gonna outgrow all the things he’s having…he don’t have no diagnosis or no illnesses. I just think he just needs more time, and I’m on his time,” she stated.
Rock added that her son is in therapy, that she remains present for him, and that she continues praying over him. She also made it clear that she refuses to accept negative narratives that strangers place on Chrisean Rock’s son based on what they see online. The conversation became emotional as she reflected on the criticism the child has received, with Rock explaining that she tries to focus on loving him and blocking out the noise.
Her latest comments are consistent with what she has said publicly before. In March 2026, Rock denied her son had a disability during an appearance on “The Danza Project.” She said at the time that he was “developing at his own pace” and reaching milestones according to his own timing. Rock also connected her outlook to her Christian faith, saying she would not allow outside opinions to override what she believes about her child.
Questions surrounding Chrisean Jr.’s development have followed the family for years. Chrisean Jesus Malone Jr. was born on September 3, 2023. Videos of the child have repeatedly sparked online speculation about his speech, movement, and development, though social media commentary is not a medical diagnosis.
Blueface has also publicly denied claims that the child has a disability. During his November 2025 VladTV interview, Blueface said, “There is no disability,” while acknowledging that the child was not talking at that time. Blueface said the boy made sounds and described him as mobile and agile.
Blueface took a noticeably different approach when explaining what he believed was behind the developmental concerns. He blamed Rock’s parenting and argued that children need regular interaction, conversation, and stimulation as they learn to walk and speak. Those comments reflected Blueface’s personal assessment and were not presented as a medical diagnosis.
That distinction remains important as conversation around Chrisean Rock’s son continues. Rock says her child has no diagnosed illness or disability, while also confirming that therapy is part of his routine. For now, she says her focus is not on meeting the internet’s timeline, but on giving her son the support, patience, and attention she believes he needs as he continues to grow.
