Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones was arrested early this morning after an incident at a Cincinnati bar.
Jones was reportedly out at The Scene celebrating his girlfriend’s birthday. According to police, he was shouting profanities and waving his arms inside the bar. Officers say he was escorted outside and asked to calm down but kept causing a disturbance.
Police say that when they told Jones he was under arrest, he resisted by tightening his arms and pulling away, and it took two officers to restrain him. He was arrested around 2:35 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated and resisting arrest.
Jones took to Twitter to deny that he was drunk. He was later released from the Hamilton County Justice Center. If you saw him wearing a neck brace afterward, that was from a football injury, not the arrest.
Pacman has worked hard to put his past behind him. A night like this doesn’t help.
