Patrick Mahomes Sr., father of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, has once again found himself at the center of controversy, this time with former baseball star John Rocker.

The incident, caught on video, shows the two exchanging intense words, seemingly on the verge of a physical altercation before the situation was defused in New Orleans shortly after the Super Bowl. In the clip, it appears that Rocker tries to shake Mahomes Sr.’s hand. However, the former athlete slaps it away and their argument ensues.

The situation spilled over online Tuesday night, with both men taking shots at one another on Twitter. Rocker called Mahomes Sr. “a f**king loser” that “can’t take a d**n joke.” It’s still unclear what he initially said to set Mahomes Sr. off.

“Wish I laid him out right there and ruined his bulls**t weekend even more,” he added.

The elder Mahomes fired back, “You really haven’t changed one bit in the last 25 years. Keep my name out your loud mouth.”
