Indiana Pacers forward Paul George is responding to an online report that explicit photos tied to him were leaked. Black Sports Online first reported that a man who identified himself only as Paul posted photos he claimed George sent him, and said he had used a fake female profile to get athletes to send pictures. The reporting did not verify that the photos are authentic, and Baller Alert is not publishing them.
George denied the catfish story. He told the Indianapolis Star, “I know the girl that sent the pictures out,” saying a woman, not a catfish scheme, was behind it. After a game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday, he also said off court stories had not affected him and called the report a fabrication meant to bring him down.
