Paul Pierce’s career with ESPN has come to an end. The network has recently decided to part ways with the former NBA star just days after he shared a video on his Instagram Live of women twerking.

It is still unknown whether Pierce was fired for the video specifically, but the video went viral over the weekend and drew in lots of attention.

Pierce has been with the network for the past 3.5 years, featuring on “NBA Countdown” and “The Jump.”

Just minutes after being released from ESPN, he tweeted, “Big Things coming soon stay tuned make sure u smile #Truthshallsetufree.”

He also posted a video with the message in which he can be seen laughing and smiling.
