Pepsi has announced that the company will no longer sponsor the super bowl halftime show.

Pepsi reportedly renewed its contract with the NFL, but the deal doesn’t include the halftime show. Throughout the ten-year agreement, the NFL and Pepsi’s partnership was worth roughly $2 billion.

In October 2021, CNBC reported that the “Super Bowl halftime rights could hit the market, and the NFL would seek up to $50 million for them.”

“After ten years of iconic Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show performances. We have decided it’s time to pass the mic,” Pepsi tweeted. “Thank you to the amazing artists and fans who helped us create some incredible moments along the way. Now on to the next stage.”
