It seems like former NFL baller, Percy Harvin, has had enough of retirement.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the 2009 first round draft pick, is apparently re-signing with Buffalo. On Tuesday, the baller’s agent took to twitter to announce the news.
“My client Percy Harvin has come out of retirement to sign with the Buffalo Bills for the remainder of the season!”
In April, the 2010 rookie of the year told the Bills that he would be retiring due to injuries. Although, explosive when healthy, Harvin’s constant hip and knee injuries kept him sidelined for a good portion of his career. The injuries, then caused frustration. Which, then led to his departure from the league. However, after six months, he is back. Hopefully, for good this time.
Prior to Harvin’s short retirement, the Bills were interested in re-signing the former Florida Gator, despite the hip and knee issues. Apparently, the organization hoped to place him in a rotation with Robert Woods, opposite Sammy Watkins. However, with Harvin’s abrupt exit, the idea didn’t go as planned.
Now, after just a five game appearance in the 2015 season with Buffalo, and only 28 games over the past five seasons, Harvin plans to redeem himself. Apparently, injuries have plagued the Bills this season. So, if the baller can remain healthy, he could definitely make a difference with the team. In addition, if he provide the explosive unstoppable talent he showcased early on in his career, Harvin’s career could take a positive turn.
