Pharrell’s skincare brand, Humanrace, is launching a new line of suncare products.

On Thursday, the company announced its plans for the new products. The official launch begins next month and will include Ozone Face Protection Daily Moisturizer and Ozone Body Protection Cream. Both products enhance SPF 30 protection and are comprised of mineral-based formulations.

Pharrell explained why using the product and protecting his skin from the sun is essential.

“Our Earth’s Ozone layer naturally protects us from harmful UV radiation from the sun. But we still need to protect ourselves daily from the UV rays that get through,” he said. “We believe there is room under the sun for everyone. We all need to be wearing sunscreen daily.”

Humanrace’s co-founder, Rachel Muscat, says the new line allowed her to share her Australian upbringing with the public.

“I grew up in Australia, where sunscreen is a daily part of our routine,” she said. “We want to provide that same education and instill a positive daily practice of wearing SPF daily to our customers.”

The suncare line will be available for purchase starting July 14th.
