Deion Sanders says his estranged wife, Pilar, attacked him at their home in Prosper, Texas, and police arrested her.
Deion took to Twitter on Monday to say Pilar and her friend Dee Boswell jumped him in his room, and that their sons saw it happen. “Pray for me and my kids now!” he tweeted. “She’s going to jail n I’m pressing charges!” He said he was sad his boys had to witness it, and that he had warned local police she might try to harm him. He followed up with a photo of himself and his sons filling out police reports.
Pilar was arrested and booked into the Collin County jail on a family violence charge. She has not commented yet.
The two have been in an ugly divorce since Deion filed in December, even though they were still living in the same Prosper mansion. It has been playing out in public for months, with lawsuits, accusations and Twitter rants from both sides. The timing raised eyebrows too, since Deion was recently photographed at a New York red carpet with Tracey Edmonds.
Domestic violence is never a laughing matter, no matter who it’s against. The saddest part of this whole thing is that the kids keep getting caught in the middle. These two need to finish this divorce and let their children have some peace.
