Pizza Hut is bringing back a familiar favorite just in time for Mother’s Day, and this year the rollout comes with a few noticeable upgrades.
For the first time, the brand is officially positioning its Heart Shaped Pizza as a Mother’s Day offering, turning what has previously been a limited Valentine’s-style drop into a broader, family-centered moment. Available from May 4 through May 10 at select locations nationwide, the specialty pie features a medium one-topping pizza crafted into a heart, leaning fully into the “gift you can eat” lane.
This year’s version also introduces something new. The Heart Shaped Pizza will now be made with Pizza Hut’s updated Hand Tossed Crust, part of the company’s ongoing push to refresh its core menu. Customers can also add the new garlic-parm Hut Blend to the crust edges, a flavor upgrade that reflects the chain’s recent focus on bolder, more customizable options.
The timing makes sense. Mother’s Day consistently ranks among the busiest days for restaurant takeout in the United States, according to industry data, with families increasingly opting for convenient, shareable meals over traditional dine-in plans.
Orders open May 4 through PizzaHut.com, the Pizza Hut app, or in-store, while supplies last at participating locations.
