Deputies in Clayton County, Georgia, found more than drugs during a raid on a suspected meth house.
According to WSB TV, the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office COBRA Unit served a search warrant at a home in Jonesboro on Tuesday night. Eric, the resident, came out and surrendered after deputies surrounded the house, and he is being held in the Clayton County Jail. Reports did not list his specific charges, and Baller Alert could not find a statement from him or an attorney.
The sheriff’s office said deputies seized about 7 ounces of methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana, a handgun, scales, baggies and about $5,000 in suspected drug money.
The Klan Robe
Deputies also reported finding an original Ku Klux Klan robe displayed in a shadow box on a hallway wall. Officials estimated it was 60 to 70 years old.
In a statement, Sheriff Victor Hill said neighbors had long thought the nooses displayed in the front yard each Halloween were a bit extreme, but never imagined where the idea may have come from. Neighbors who spoke to WSB TV said they were surprised by the discovery.
