On Sunday, tragedy struck in Oakland at the MacArthur BART Station, after a man, a suspected white supremacist, stabbed two women in what appeared to be a “random” attack.
The incident occurred around 9:45 p.m., however, the motive remains unclear. A man who witnessed the incident said his back was to the victims when the incident occurred. But, when he turned around, he said he saw one victim, who has been identified as 18-year-old Nia Wilson, bleeding from her neck, after the man had slit her throat.
As for the other victim, who has been identified as Wilson’s sister, Malika Harris, she was transported to a local hospital to be treated for her injuries.

According to SF Gate, the two sisters were on their way to celebrate Wilson’s late boyfriend’s birthday, who had drowned in a lake two years ago. But, in their commute, they were met by the suspect, who a witness said came “out of nowhere” and attacked them.
