50 Cent recently appeared on The Breakfast Club and discussed Hurricane Chris’ comments regarding his Humor & Harmony festival in Shreveport, Louisiana.
As you know, Hurricane Chris called out 50 for not featuring any Louisiana artists at the event this summer.
But in true 50 Cent fashion, he didn’t hold back. He pointed out that Chris was just trying to generate a buzz to promote a new record, but it flopped.
“You know people. They need to sell records,” 50 said. “That publicity tried to build some sort of noise to drop a record, but it didn’t work.”
Fifty added that Hurricane Chris came with “I’m going to kill somebody energy.”
He questioned why Chris would bring that vibe to a positive event. “When the whole event and everything is positive, and you come with ‘imma kill somebody’ energy…. for what exactly?”
He added that Chris was just chasing “clicks” instead of contributing to the festival’s good vibes.
Furthermore, 50 claimed he did have Louisiana legends like Master P and Fredo Bang on the lineup.
He added that the reason Chris wasn’t getting any play is because he hasn’t had a hit since “Aye Bay Bay.”
