50 cent is back in court and he plans to drag Love & Hip Hop Star Teairra Mari with him to get the $50,000 she owes.
According to Radar, Teairra’s attorney, Edward Ward, wants off the case and wants to remove her as a client.
As it was previously reported, 50 is embroiled in a never-ending legal dispute with Teairra about money owed to him. Teairra filed a lawsuit in 2019 against 50 and her ex-boyfriend Akbar Abdul-Ahad after accusing them of alleged revenge porn.
Teairra claimed that Akbar posted a photo of her with sperm on her face, and 50 being the petty man that he is, mocked the leak and reposted the photo. At the time, 50 denied any wrongdoing and requested that the charges be dropped.
Unfortunately for Teairra, the judge sided with 50 by granting him $30k in legal fees.
Since then, Teairra has allegedly refused to hand over any financial documents or answer questions regarding her income.
50 has been demanding Teairra to hand over all assets worth over $200, including any vehicles, real estate, or any information on all her businesses. The rapper also wants to know where she keeps her money, and how much she makes from song royalties.
As the case continued, the judge allowed 50 to demand more money from Teairra. A total of $6,500 in fees were added to the original amount owed, increasing the total to nearly $50,000.
Ward claimed in court filings that another attorney named Leron Rogers was handling the case but had left the firm.
Rogers was expected to bring the case to his new law practice with him. However, it appears he abandoned the investigation. Rogers was the only person who spoke to Teairra, according to Ward, and he wants to be removed as her lawyer. He also claims that Teairra still owes money to his firm.
Ward’s attempt to exit the situation was promptly met by a rebuttal from 50. Teairra has “repeatedly disobeyed this Court’s order and thumbed her nose at its authority.”
50 said that if the lawyer is allowed to drop her, Teairra will continue her “unlawful behavior.” He believes that her attorneys should try harder to find her.
