The Philadelphia man that dedicated last year to give the homeless free haircuts is now being compensated for his kindness.
As the holidays are quickly approaching, Brennon Jones thought he wouldn’t have a way to give the homeless free haircuts this year. However, a stranger who heard of Jones’ good deeds wanted to help.
That stranger was barbershop owner, Sean Johnson. āWhen I found out, [I thought] āWell I need to be a part of that,ā Johnson told Fox 29. āāI need to see what I can do to help.’ā
The gift kept on giving. Johnson ended up giving his fully renovated barbershop to Jones so he could continue his honorable acts.
ā[Johnson] said, āListen, Iāve got a building I want you to come check out,’ā Jones said. āHe said, āDo you like this place?ā I said, āYeah, I like it.ā He tossed me the key and said, āItās yours.’āā ā ā ā
Both men share big hearts, Johnson says what he did was bigger than him.
āIt wasnāt about me giving a barbershop,ā he said. āWhen you look at the homeless and the things that they need, I looked at it as more. I built something and I want to see it keep going and I want to see it do a great thing.ā
Jonesā new barbershop is set to open in November with specific days dedicated to serving the homeless.
“I just continue to rely on my faith. God brought me this far, I know heās not gonna leave me now,” said Jones.
