It looks like infamous “90 Day Fiance” couple Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi are officially going their separate ways.
Newly unveiled court documents reveal that Deem requested an annulment on June 20th. According to the paperwork, Deem claimed she and the Nigerian-born Ilesanmi had been separated for a month before she filed the documents. She is making serious claims against her husband, accusing him of “fraudulently” inducing her into walking down the aisle for the sole purpose of getting to America.
“Petitioner discovered that the respondent was engaged in a conspiracy with other Nigerian men to induce U.S. citizens into marriage for the purpose of gaining legal permanent resident status,” the docs read.
If you recall, Ilesanmi vanished from the couple’s Georgia home earlier this year. Deem filed a missing person’s report and updated fans via social media. According to her, Ilesanmi fled without telling her where he was going. Ilesanmi did not make contact until phoning the police to clarify his safety but refused to return to Deem’s home. In Deem’s annulment request, she claims she still does not know where he resides. The couple first appeared on “90 Day Fiance” in 2018 and married in 2020. Ilesanmi came to the U.S. in December 2023, and it seems things fell apart shortly after.
Deem is asking the court to make Ilesanmi cover her attorney fees. Additionally, she would like his last name removed from her government identity.
