According to reports, Adele canceled her Vegas residency due to a large COVID outbreak among her crew; however, Caesars Palace sources say it was because the “Easy on Me” singer was not pleased with the production.
Several sources claim Adele was unhappy with various set pieces, a choir, the sound system, and other items associated with the show. They indicate she felt many elements “weren’t good enough.”
To fix the issues, the singer and her crew had been awake for 30 hours straight. However, at the last minute, it proved to be too much to handle.
Caesars Palace was allegedly “shocked” when Adele canceled last minute.
According to TMZ, Adele was never satisfied with the outcomes, so this wasn’t a case of them attempting to pull it together at the last minute.
Sources at Caesars Palace claim that despite Covid, their team was ready and able, so they’re unsure why she pulled the plug.
Caesars reportedly hopes that at least some of Adele’s February shows will move forward.
