According to reports, a former Hungarian porn star is accused of stabbing her 2-year-old son and putting his body at the checkout line of an Italian supermarket following a nasty custody battle.
On Friday, Katalin Erzsebet Bradacs, 44, went into a Lidl store in Città della Pieve, Umbria’s central area, when she yelled for help while placing her son Alex Juhasz’s body on the counter.
Police say the boy was stabbed 9 times from his chest to his neck. Shortly after, his t-shirt and mother’s blood-soaked jumper were found in an abandoned building nearby.
According to Newsflash, Bradacs was charged with murder after a knife was found in her bag.
Alex’s father, Norbert Juhasz, with whom she had been entangled in a bitter child custody battle, is believed to be the motive for the heinous crime.
Reports say that the father notified authorities in Hungary after an image of his dying son was sent to his smartphone via WhatsApp moments before the mother took their son to the store.
Bradacs allegedly told police, “I did not kill my son,” after giving three contradicting accounts of what happened before deciding to remain silent on the advice of her attorney, Enrico Renzoni.
According to Juhasz, Bradacs and their son escaped to Italy last month after a Hungarian court granted him custody of the boy. Witnesses have said that the day before her son died, she was allegedly mistreating him.
Bradacs is currently being held at a prison in Perugia.
