Alexis Skyy is back and ready to take control of her love life in a big way! The reality star sat down with Ferrari Simmons and Jojo Alonso on the Baller Alert Show to talk about her latest project—a dating show called Falling for Sky—and her journey from reality TV star to businesswoman. Alexis didn’t hold back, spilling all the details on her upcoming show, her personal growth, and why she’s ready to find real love.
Alexis Skyy dropped a major bombshell right out of the gate—she’s about to star in her very own dating show, Falling for Sky. “I’m looking for love,” she shared, confirming that the show will feature both men and women competing for her heart. Filming is set to take place in a house in Miami, and auditions are already underway.
“I’ve got a new dating show coming out,” Alexis said excitedly. “We’re filming in Miami, and it’s going to be guys and girls. It’s going to be fun and intimate—I’m really putting myself out there to find love.”
Auditions for the show were held on October 19th, and Alexis encouraged anyone who’s serious about winning her over to apply. “You can go to the website or text us to get the link,” she added. “We’re going to do something fun, like a talent show, and I’m all about personality, so you’ve got to bring your A-game.”
For Alexis, finding love hasn’t been easy—especially in the fast-paced world of reality TV and social media. She admitted that dating in the industry, and especially in Atlanta, is tough. But now, she’s taking a different approach by putting her romantic future in the hands of a dating competition.
“When you’re in our industry, it’s hard to date,” Alexis explained. “People come at me all the time on social media, but I want something real. So I figured, why not do a show? Put myself in a house with guys and girls and see what happens.”
She also revealed that she’s open to both men and women as potential partners, saying, “I like both, and it’s going to be a competition to see who wins my love.”
Aside from the dating show, Alexis Skyy also opened up about her journey as an entrepreneur and mother. After rising to fame through her appearances on reality shows like Love & Hip Hop, Alexis shifted her focus to building businesses and expanding her brand.
“I started my first business at 18,” Alexis shared. “I’ve always been a hustler. I wanted to build something that was mine, something lasting. That’s how I ended up opening the Rich & Wealthy firm, focusing on tax services and credit repair.”
Alexis revealed that financial literacy is something she’s passionate about, especially when it comes to helping people in her community. “Coming from a background where I was a dancer, I didn’t know much about credit or taxes,” she explained. “But now, I want to educate others, especially women, on how to get their finances in order.”
Being a single mother comes with its own set of challenges, but Alexis is determined to make it work. She candidly discussed how her daughter has motivated her to keep pushing forward, even when things get tough.
“I never wanted to be a mom, to be honest,” Alexis admitted. “But my daughter changed my life. She’s teaching me patience, and she gives me a reason to keep going every day. It’s not easy juggling being a mom and running businesses, but I’m doing it.”
Alexis also took a moment to reflect on her past as a dancer in Atlanta, sharing that she had always seen it as a means to an end. “I didn’t want to be there forever,” she said. “I was in the club to make my money, save up, and get out. I wasn’t about staying in that life.”
She credited her ex for helping her transition out of dancing and into a more stable lifestyle. “He took me out of the club,” she said. “At first, I didn’t know what to do with myself because I was addicted to the fast money. But now, I’m glad I moved on.”
While Falling for Sky is Alexis’s current focus, she has her eyes set on more business ventures, including expanding her company, getting into acting, and possibly even writing a book. “I want to tell my story,” she said. “I think a documentary or book is in the works because my life has been a wild ride. I want to share that with the world.”
She’s also excited to show fans a different side of her on Falling for Sky. “People don’t really know me,” she shared. “This show is going to let people see the real me—not just the glamorous side, but the real, authentic Alexis.”
Alexis Skyy’s new dating show, Falling for Sky, will be airing exclusively on Now TV, with filming beginning soon and the show expected to debut in January 2024.
