Amazon is helping families with their holiday feasts this Thanksgiving with a $25 meal deal designed to serve five people. Officially launching on November 12th and running through November 27th, the bundle includes an 8-pound Butterball frozen turkey, Reser’s homestyle side dishes, Amazon Grocery crescent rolls, and a holiday pie, all delivered straight to your door.
The full meal features mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, stuffing, gravy, and a pie of your choice, with pumpkin, apple, and cherry topping, Amazon’s most-ordered list from 2024. It’s a ready-to-heat spread for just $5 per person, aiming to ease the burden on families facing higher grocery prices and government assistance delays.
This deal comes as over 40 million Americans relying on SNAP face major uncertainty. The ongoing government shutdown has stalled benefits, and while partial funding has been announced, most recipients are set to receive only half of their usual monthly aid.
Amazon joins retailers like Walmart and ALDI, who recently announced meal bundles targeting budget-conscious shoppers. Walmart’s $40 Thanksgiving Meal Basket includes over 20 items to feed 10 people, while ALDI offers 21 products for the same price and serving size.
