Anthony Edwards might have some explaining to do.
Just days after he and his legal team accused Ayesha Howard of intentionally getting pregnant, newly surfaced texts are calling his version of events into question.
According to The Neighborhood Talk, text messages obtained appear to show the Minnesota Timberwolves guard being less than honest about using protection during his relationship with Howard.
In one message, Howard allegedly asked, “You don’t like condoms?” to which Edwards responded, “I do but not those ones.”
Howard then replied, “Ok well just don’t be wilding slanging it everywhere. I’d be lying if I said the condom didn’t throw me off or that I didn’t want you. But I’m hoping you have some discipline with your lifestyle and all. I f*ck with you so I let it happen but I was being serious when I said I don’t deal with anyone.”
Edwards allegedly responded with, “Ian f*ck nobody raw I gotcha,” a message Howard supposedly liked.
If these texts are authentic, they could weaken Edwards’ claim that Howard trapped him. His legal team has tried to paint the Atlanta influencer as deceptive, but the messages may suggest otherwise.
Although Edwards recently agreed to give Howard full custody of their daughter, Aubri, the court battle isn’t over. He still has to address his financial responsibilities moving forward.
