Hygiene standards reportedly don’t seem like a priority for Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis. They shared their bathing routines for themselves and their children during a recent appearance on ‘Dax Shepard and Monica Padman’s Armchair Expert’ podcast.
When they started talking about self-care, Dax reportedly told his co-host, Monica, that she shouldn’t wash the oil on her skin off with soap every day.
“I didn’t have hot water growing up as a child, so I didn’t shower much anyway,” Kunis said during the conversation. “… But when I had children, I also didn’t wash them every day. I wasn’t that parent that bathed my newborns — ever.”
Dax said that his wife Kirsten Bell would wash their children every day until they became old enough to wash themselves. Kunis added that is the way to do it.
“Now, here’s the thing: If you can see the dirt on them, clean them. Otherwise, there’s no point,” Kutcher said during the exchange.
Kutcher and Kunis reportedly stated they don’t lather their entire bodies with soap when they shower.
“I wash my armpits and my crotch daily, and nothing else ever,” Kutcher said. “I got a bar of Lever 2000 that delivers every time. Nothing else.”
