Amid the ongoing controversy surrounding the college admissions scandal, which forced several brands and businesses to distance themselves from Lori Loughlin and her daughters, Netflix has officially announced Loughlin’s time on its “Full House” reboot has come to an end.
First Sephora pulled its partnership with Loughlin’s daughter, Olivia Jade, saying, “After careful review of recent developments, we have made the decision to end the Sephora Collection partnership with Olivia Jade, effective immediately.” Then, Hallmark announced it had cut ties with Loughlin and removed the actress from its “When Calls The Heart” promotion poster.
After that, Tresemme ended its work relationship with Olivia and Netflix released its statement about Loughlin.
“Fuller House is not currently in production,” the streaming service told TMZ in a statement. “Lori is a guest star and was during the previous 4 seasons, and there are currently no plans for her to return to the 5th season.”
