Pacers star Paul George has been spending his offseason doing good deeds for other people. Recently, the family of 11-year-old Daisy Esterline set up a Go Fund Me account in order to raise money to buy a wheelchair-accessible van. Daisy is suffering from cerebral palsy and has to get around in a wheelchair, which is made even harder without a family van that can help to transport her from place to place.
Daisy is one of George’s biggest fans and even got the chance to meet him last year. So when he got a tweet from her dad Howard asking if he would be willing to chip in, he jumped at the opportunity to help a friend. He generously donated $10,000 to the family to go towards the purchase of their new van, and sent an encouraging message saying, “Keep fighting Daisy, I am with you!”
When Daisy heard what George did for her, she was full of excitement…he definitely made her day. Her family was also extremely appreciative of what he did. What goes around comes around, and it looks like there will be some good karma coming Paul George’s way!
