New Music Friday is here yet again and there is plenty of good vibes to take us into the weekend.
Shortly after announcing her debut album, “Why Not More,” Coco Jones unveiled the project’s first single. “Taste” is another R&B banger from this soulful Grammy winner, released with a seductive visual. This track samples Britney Spears’ “Toxic,” serving as a refreshing delivery, giving fans a true “taste” of what her album will entail when it arrives on April 25th.
Burna Boy also returned with a new single, “Update,” which samples “Back to Life” by Soul II Soul. The record arrives at a time when the Nigerian superstar has been in the news for his relationship with Chloe Bailey. Though he has not spoken out publicly about their alleged romance, Burna is clearly focused on giving his fans what they want.
Next up, Quavo went back to his Migos roots with the single, “Trappa Rappa.” The Atlanta star goes back to his classic flow, which made him famous alongside Offset and Takeoff. This follows his country track, “Georgia Ways,” which debuted two months ago. While many fans were concerned that Quavo was taking a turn with his music, “Trappa Rappa” proves that he is remaining true to his fanbase.
