Barack Obama’s “One Last Time (44 Remix)” With Christopher Jackson and BeBe Winans Debuts at No. 22 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs Chart

For the last 713 days, the Obamas have been living their best lives out of the Oval Office, between lucrative book deals and production deals for movies and television. But, of course, the swag and excellence doesn’t end there, in fact, the two have each secured the title of a Billboard Charting Artist.

In 2015, both the Forever President and First Lady became Billboard Charting Artists, for their features on, “Pop Off” by JX Cannon” and “Go To College” by Jay Pharaoh,” respectively. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

While Obama first appeared on a now-defunct Billboard chart in 2009 for “A Moment In History: The Inauguration of Barack Obama,” his 2015 appearance was his first song, on another now-defunct chart, Billboard + Twitter Emerging Artists.

But now, just three years later, the Forever President has landed his first debut on Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs chart, as “One Last Time (44 Remix)” enters at No. 22.

Released on Dec. 22, the song is a gospel-inspired remix of a song from Lin-Manuel Miranda’s hit Broadway musical “Hamilton,” created by Christopher Jackson, Barack Obama and BeBe Winans.
