Basketball Wives star Brittish Williams’ salary has been revealed as part of the plea deal she reached in her wire fraud case.
According to court documents, Brittish agreed to a yearly salary of $90,000 in her employment agreement while claiming tax exemption on her W-4 form to avoid any deductions from her pay.
RadarOnline reported that she agreed to a plea deal, admitting to $150k fraud. She pleaded guilty to five Social Security number misuse counts, four bank fraud counts, three false IRS statement counts, and three wire fraud counts.
“British Williams has admitted an unusually large number of frauds that victimized taxpayers, banks, credit card companies, individuals, and programs that were intended to help struggling businesses and employees during the COVID-19 pandemic,” U.S. Attorney Sayler Fleming said this week.
“This is a first step towards justice for those victims,” he added. “We will also be seeking repayment of all of her ill-gotten gains.”
The total sum of “known actual and intended losses” resulting from Williams’ schemes amounted to $446,082.
Initially, the reality star pleaded not guilty when accused of misusing a Social Security number, bank and wire fraud, and false IRS statements.
Brittish and prosecutors have been in a long legal dispute for months as the case progressed. The government accused her of unauthorized travel, but the judge rejected putting her in prison before the trial.
The reality star is scheduled to be sentenced on August 23.
