Baskin-Robbins Ghost Pepper Ice Cream Will Provide Hot & Creamy Goodness In Time for Halloween

Baskin-Robbins is making things spicy this fall with its all-new ghost pepper ice cream.

The Spicy ‘N Spooky has been dubbed October’s Flavor of the Month, just in time for Halloween. Beginning on October 1st, Spicy ‘N Spooky will appear on Baskin-Robbins menus nationwide, packing a punch not often seen in ice cream. This frozen treat blends white chocolate ghost pepper ice cream with dark chocolate ice cream and orange pepper flakes.

If your stomach does not agree with spicy foods, then the Spicy ‘N Spooky flavor may not be for you. Ghost peppers are amongst the hottest, according to the Scoville Scale. However, Baskin-Robbins promises that most everyone will be able to enjoy this “spicy and sweet” dessert.

“We’re excited to evoke the spookiness that comes with the season,” stated Director of Research and Development Jeanne Bolger.

It appears that Spicy ‘N Spooky will only be available through the month of October. For the goblin holiday, the creamery will also be presenting Trixie the Ghost Cake. The cake in the shape of an adorable ghost comes with a bright orange bow decorated with cobwebs. Customers can enjoy the cake by adding the ice cream of their choosing to it. For those feeling creative, we highly suggest adding the Spicy ‘N Spooky ice cream to the Ghost Cake for maximum delight.
