During a recent livestream, DDG played an unreleased song featuring Bia and Lakeyah. As the track played, Bia suggested that the reason it never dropped was because of Bailey.
“He didn’t put it out because he was in a relationship and the person that he was with didn’t want him to put it out,” Bia revealed. She then added, “Moral of the story, don’t let relationships get in the way of your creativity.”
This revelation comes amid personal struggles between DDG and Bailey over their son, Halo. Earlier this month, DDG dropped a song titled “Don’t Take My Son,” in which he pleads with Bailey: “Don’t take my son because he’s all I got / I’m just having fun, I don’t love these thots.”
DDG also calls out financial disputes over visitation.
“Tryna make me pay to see my son, that’s gonna make me hot,” before adding, “It’s not about the money, it’s more about the principle, you know I’m rich.”
Addressing the situation in a vlog titled “She Won’t Let Me See My Son,” DDG explained, “I don’t care what nobody thinks. I literally just want to be in my son’s life.”
