The Detroit rapper sat down with Charlamagne Tha God for a transparent chat, where he opened up about the viral feud. Sean spoke on his March track, “Precision,” which unfortunately dropped on the same day as Future, Metro Boomin, and Lamar’s hit, “Like That.” When both records hit streaming platforms on March 22nd, Lamar’s lethal diss left Sean’s single in the wind.
“It did drown it out…You gotta think about it if it’s like Metro Boomin and Future and then Kendrick addressing J. Cole and Drake on ‘First Person Shooter,’ it’s a whole thing,” he explained during the episode of “Out Of Context.”

Lamar’s famous “Motherf**k the big three, n***a, it’s just big me” line on “Like That” took the internet by storm and kicked off the nasty back and forth between Drizzy and the California native. J. Cole released his reply track, titled “7 Minute Drill,” but bowed out gracefully before the feud heated up, leaving Drake and Lamar to battle it out for months. Sean and Lamar previously had an issue when the 2017 track “Element” leaked online. Lamar aimed at several rappers, with Sean being one of them. At the time, the pair were close friends, which apparently confused the “Bounce Back” star. However, he revealed to Charlamagne that he received an apology from his collaborator. Still, Sean admits he was prepared to get in the ring this time around if Lamar uttered his name in the feud.
“I definitely had a whole thing prepared,” Sean explained. “I definitely was not running from or ducking no type smoke at all.”
Lamar hasn’t responded publicly to Sean’s latest interview.
