It looks like Big Sean and Jhene Aiko won’t have any legal protection against a deranged fan after their restraining order was denied.
On Monday, the couple asked a judge for an order of protection against Ian Craig Lees, who has shown up at her California home and concerts, TMZ reports. He has even gotten into an altercation with security in her neighborhood while trying to access her home. Aiko was hoping that a judge could force him to stay at least 100 yards away from her, Sean, and her children. However, for reasons unknown, the order was denied.

Lees has even been charged with one count of stalking and one count of burglary for entering Aiko’s and Sean’s home when she was away. He was arrested on August 18th and remains behind bars with a $150,000 bond. Even with this evidence, their request was shot down. Lees next court date is September 6th.
Aiko is reportedly fearing for her life, and with the possibility of being released on bond, there is a good chance that he could try making contact with her again. She has two children, a 14-year-old daughter, Namiko, with ex-boyfriend O’Ryan, and a nine-month-old son, Noah, whom she shares with the Detroit rapper, which is more reason for the singer to be concerned.
It’s unknown if the judge overseeing the case will reconsider the restraining order during next month’s court date.
