Billie Eilish Says She Almost Backed Out Of ACL Festival Because Of Texas Abortion Law

Following the uproar on abortion rights, Billie Eilish openly voices her opinion on the controversial topic.

Saturday, the singer hit the stage at the Austin City Limits festival. While on stage, Billie took a moment to speak on the restrictive Texas law. Billie admitted that she initially wasn’t going to perform at the festival in response to the law.

“I’m sick and tired of old men,” she said. “Shut the f*** up about our bodies. When they made that s*** a law, I almost didn’t want to do the show, because I wanted to punish this f*****g place for allowing that to happen here. But then, I remembered that it’s you guys that are the f*****g victims, and you deserve everything in the world.”

The 19-year-old has always been vocal about her viewpoint on the law. Days after the law went into effect, Eilish took to Instagram saying, “I’m so f**king tired. Makes me sick how many men say nothing when it comes to women rights.”
