As we near closer to the premiere of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, McDonald’s is celebrating the highly anticipated film with an exclusive Happy Meal.
On Tuesday, the fast food icon announced the arrival of the festive Happy Meals. Each box is wrapped with the black and purple colors of the Black Panther. Kids will receive one of ten exclusive Black Panther figurines that are characters from the original movie and sequel. With the final Halloween kid’s meals and trick-or-treat pails flying out the door, McDonald’s wasted no time ushering in the “Wakanda” selection for its young fans.
Jennifer Healan, VP of U.S. Marketing, Brand Content and Engagement at McDonald’s, said the first “Black Panther” film was incredibly influential, prompting the brand to incorporate its elements into nationwide menus.
“The first Black Panther movie inspired a new generation of Marvel lovers, and that’s because of the powerful story it told, brought to life by an incredibly talented cast,” Healan said in a statement.
Several companies have begun incorporating Black Panther: Wakanda Forever into their marketing operations ahead of its November 11th theater debut. Adidas released a line of ULTRABOOST 5.0 sneakers with “Black Panther” designs, while MAC Cosmetics released a vibrant “Wakanda Forever” makeup collection.
It is unclear how long the “Wakanda Forever” Happy Meals will remain in restaurants, so don’t hesitate to grab your little one this after-school food favorite.
