The internet has been buzzing after rumors swirled over the weekend that Chrisean Rock and Blueface got married at some point during his jail stint.
It seems the chatter began when Chrisean updated her Instagram bio with a groom emoji, adding Blueface’s Instagram handle next to it. Over on his page, the West Coast rapper made a similar move, adding Chrisean’s IG tag next to a bride emoji. Additionally, both have switched their profile photo to images of one another. A woman identifying herself as Blueface’s aunt claimed that a wedding had taken place.
Back in August, Blueface was handed a four-year prison sentence for violating his probation in connection with a 2021 assault. However, it has been reported that he could be released in April 2025. Therefore, if a wedding occurred, this was done at the prison, though Blueface’s mother says the entire story is false.
In a Monday Instagram post, Karlissa Safford shared an update to her page, blasting the woman who started the rumor, which happens to be her sister. She reposted an old photo of Chrisean and Blueface from a fan page, slamming the entire situation.
“Blueface and Chrisean have not gotten married, despite the rumors started by Blueface’s Aunt Karletta,” the post read, followed by a caption stating, “My own sister thirsty for clout now let’s see how she reap from trying to rob my family out of a moment that had nothing to do with her. She is not his aunt because an aunt would never use my son’s union for evil.”
In a separate Instagram Story post, Safford doubled down on the marriage never happening.
“The news is they lied on her and him, and they not married. Stop wishing bad things on young people you know are not meant for each other. Period,” she wrote.
Neither Chrisean nor Blueface has spoken out about their nuptials, so no one may truly know for sure what happened between them.
