Blueface has been given a slap on the wrist for a shooting in Las Vegas that left a man injured last year.
On Monday, the “Thotiana” rapper was sentenced to a suspended sentence of 36 months, KTNV reports. This means Blueface will serve his time on probation instead of behind bars after accepting a plea agreement. Under the deal made in July, Blueface’s initial charge of attempted murder was reduced to battery and discharging a firearm at or into an occupied structure.
The victim of the October 8th, 2022 shooting is Kentabius Traylor. He was grazed in the hand after being jumped by members of Blueface’s crew. Even after the physical altercation, Traylor tried to leave the scene when Blueface shot at him.
Clark County District Court Judge Kathleen E. Delaney also ruled that the 26-year-old is not allowed to drink alcohol nor partake in any illegal drug use. Additionally, he is not permitted to own any firearms. He must also stay away from Traylor, as well as the Las Vegas Strip, where the shooting took place, unless given permission.
The civil actions brought against him by his victim and a woman also hurt in the shooting can now move forward since his criminal case is nearing an end. They’d previously been halted pending his sentencing. Unfortunately, these are not the only legal battles Blueface has brewing.
Blueface’s on-again, off-again girlfriend, Chrisean Rock, is threatening to sue him over posting pictures of their son’s genital area during a shocking back-and-forth online. Blueface has claimed he was hacked, so it’s unclear how that court case will play out.
