Rapper Blueface is recovering after being stabbed by a man during his boxing session.
On Wednesday, the “Thotiana” rapper took to Instagram to share several videos of what led to the incident earlier in the day. In the footage, a man in a white tank top walked into the gym where Blueface was working out with trainer David Kaminsky. He was accompanied by a dog and tried to approach the reality TV star. While there was no audio, words were exchanged, and things quickly heated. The two argued as Kaminsky tried to stand in between them and diffuse the situation. Blueface then swings at the unknown male, punching him several times. While the footage does not show the actual stabbing, the assailant does retrieve what appears to be a knife from his pants. On his Instagram Story, Blueface showed his bloody bandages and leg, letting his fans know that he was doing fine.
“Just a leg shot, guys. I’m okay. You don’t gotta blow up my phone or nothing,” he said in the clip.
The 26-year-old has been training for his October 14th boxing match but shared that he would not be able to compete due to his injury, which is not life-threatening. The attacker has not yet been identified or caught. It is unknown what prompted him to enter the gym and whether or not he knew the social media influencer would be present. Kaminsky did confirm to TMZ that the attacker yelled, “I’m gonna kill you,” to Blueface immediately upon entering the facility.
