Duane Keith Davis, a suspect in Tupac Shakur’s 1996 murder, remained calm during his arrest in Las Vegas last month.

Bodycam footage showed him questioning the officer’s driving and the lack of media presence during the apprehension.

In a video obtained by NBC affiliate KSNV, Davis remained composed throughout the arrest.  He later requested water, which was provided to him after he was placed in the police vehicle.

Davis is then seen criticizing the officers driving for getting stuck in traffic headed to the freeway.

“Were you all following me last night?” Davis asks, and the officer says, “Nope.”

Davis asks, “So why didn’t you all bring the media?” The officer says, “Why would we bring the media?” and Davis says, “That’s what you all do.”

On Thursday, in another body camera video released, an officer asked, “So what they got you for, man?”

“Biggest case in Las Vegas history,” Davis replies.  “September 7th, 1996.”

Davis, also known as “Keefy D” or “Keffe D,” is not accused of personally shooting Tupac Shakur in Las Vegas.  However, an indictment alleges that Davis and three other gang members present that night conspired to kill Shakur “by acting together.”

Last week, Police Lt. Jason Johansson confirmed that “Duane Davis was the shot caller.”

Davis’s arraignment is scheduled for October 19, and The Clark County District Attorney expects him to plead not guilty.
