Boosie Badazz is out of the Metropolitan Correctional Center in San Diego after posting a $100,000 bond on Friday night.Â
TMZÂ caught up with the rapper as he left the federal lockup, describing the rapper as all smiles while sitting in the back of an SUV.Â
After appearing for an ongoing gun case, Boosie was arrested by federal agents outside the courthouse. The rapper was involved in a traffic stop last month where two guns were found in the vehicle. He was charged with being a felon in possession of a weapon.Â
Those charges were dismissed, but Boosie was arrested by Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms agents and charged with federal gun charges.
Prosecutors filed motions to deny Boosie’s bond, but two federal judges ruled in his favor, allowing him to bond out.Â
The rapper’s attorney, Meghan Blaco, told the outlet Boosie maintains his innocence, and they plan to have the federal case dismissed.Â
