Last month, the 38-year-old was hosting an event in Dallas, Texas, when he was brutally shot. The violence resulted in the rapper having to be treated for multiple injuries, including a procedure to remove bullet fragments, and screws had to be placed in his foot.
The gunshot left Boosie with discoloration, and he had to have several staples and stitches put in from his thigh down, TMZ reports.
But the rapper is all about keeping it pushing, and he plans on doing that the best way he knows how by bringing the situation to light in a new single, “Lost for Words.” The song dropped on Thursday.
And his hosting gigs haven’t come to a stop either. Boosie went to South Carolina and then Alabama to celebrate his birthday even though he had to pull up in a wheelchair, the outlet reports. No arrests have been made in the case, TMZ reports.
