Bow Wow has already accomplished quite a bit in his more than two-decades-long career, and he wants his flowers sooner rather than later. On Tuesday, he expressed on Twitter that he would like to be honored at the BET Awards show.
One of his fans asked if he deserves to be in the Hall of Fame, to which he replied, “Absolutely.” He added, “BET should honor me next year at the hip hop awards. I dont want them to wait til im 44 years old. Plus ill be the youngest artist in history to get that award ever.”

Another Twitter user disagreed, telling the rapper that it seemed a little too soon for him to be recognized. Bow Wow wasn’t trying to hear it.

He then reminded everyone that at 34-years-old, he’s already got more than two decades in the game.
Im a vet. Im like nothing you will ever see. I put in 22 years already. Im 34. 24 years of a career is like most of the greats. I started young. I deserve mine broski. Needs that. https://t.co/qfEa3Khig2

Bow Wow isn’t wrong. He released his first album at just 13-years-old. He has since released a total of six studio albums and eight mixtapes. His first album achieved double-platinum status, and he also has two other albums that reached platinum status. Not to mention the charts he’s topped and the awards he’s won. Bow Wow was nicknamed “Mr. 106 & Park” for dominating the video countdown show.
Aside from music, he’s also been in several films. He’s appeared in Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift, Lottery Ticket, and Like Mike. He also served as co-host on 106 & Park from 2012 until 2014, when the show ended.
