Brent Grimes’ Wife Takes Shots At Dolphins Quarterback Ryan Tannehill – blogged by @LoveRubyWoo

Miko Grimes is a name that has come up several times over the past year. In fact, she has probably been in the news lately more than her husband Brent Grimes, a cornerback for the Miami Dolphins. Most notably, Miko was a topic of news earlier this year following her arrest at a Dolphins game, though charges were later dropped. She’s also no stranger to controversy on social media and has raised eyebrows multiple times with her infamous Twitter and IG rants. She’s made it very clear that she’s not afraid to speak her mind when someone gets on her bad side and her social media rants prove just that. 

Well on Sunday, Miko made headlines again after the Dolphins lost to the Colts. She was unhappy about the loss, but moreover, she was furious that the reporters seemed to always blame the defense for the Dolphins’ continual problems when according to her, quarterback Ryan Tannehill is the real issue. She logged onto Twitter last night after the game to let out her frustrations, and she she certainly did not hold back. This time, her tweets were directed at Tannehill, as well as several Miami Dolphins reporters. 

It all started when Miami Herald reporter Adam Beasley threw some shade at Grimes on Twitter. He tweeted “Grimes pick negated by Grimes hold. Kinda his year, no?” to which Miko responded “Look at this fuck boy!”

She then turned on Ryan Tannehill and unleashed an entire tirade on the Dolphins quarterback, who completed 26 of 38 passes for 329 yards on Sunday, while also throwing an interception and no touchdowns. “I knew this QB stunk the minute we signed him to this team,” tweeted Miko Grimes. “But I tried to keep quiet so I didn’t discourage bae from believing in his team.”

Welp! While her tweets are entertaining at best and vulgar at worst, her Twitter fingers may be costing more than just backlash from the media this time. Sports Illustrated is reporting that Brent Grimes has had to meet with the front office five times over the course of this season to discuss his wife’s unruly behavior on social media. Additionally, the Dolphins are not happy about her latest Twitter rant and have specifically asked Grimes to tell his wife to stop lashing out at Tannehill and the media. 

I can’t imagine that the vibe in the locker room can be very good between Grimes and Tannehill with him knowing how Grimes’ wife feels about him. It also has to be awkward when the Dolphins wives have to see each other at games and other team events. The Dolphins are not planning on getting rid of Tannehill anytime soon so Miko will just have to deal and take it down a notch before she costs her husband his job.
