Top NBA Prospect Bronny James has been discharged from the hospital just days after suffering cardiac arrest.
Hours after his father, LeBron James, thanked supporters via Twitter for their continued prayers, several outlets reported that his son was now recovering at home. NBA Insider Shams Charania also confirmed the news, sharing that the 18-year-old had been released Thursday afternoon.
Per a statement written by Consulting Cardiologist Merije Chukumerije, Bronny arrived at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Monday “fully conscious, neurologically intact and stable” after suffering sudden cardiac arrest at the USC Galen Center in Los Angeles. It’s still unknown what caused the terrifying medical emergency. Bronny spent a brief time in ICU before being declared stable and moving to a different hospital area. Chukumerije confirmed that his treatment would be ongoing.

James hinted that his oldest child was doing better in his Twitter announcement, writing that his family was “safe and healthy.”
