C murder and Monica

C-Murder is not pleased with Monica speaking out about him breaking her heart a second time.

The rapper is serving a life sentence in Louisiana for the murder of 16-year-old Steve Thomas in 2002. However, he and Monica remained in contact over the years after dating in the 90s. In recent years, the two rekindled their relationship. However, with a rumored new boyfriend, Anthony Wilson, many fans have been wondering about the status of her relationship with C-Murder. Days ago, Monica revealed, “I got my heartbroken again..and that’s ok! I learned yet another valuable lesson. I went through it, got over it, now I can laugh about it.” This was in response to a fan asking about him on social media. Now, the “Where I’m From” rapper is firing back, wondering why Monica is focused on the wrong things.

“I don’t know why someone feels the need to publicly bash a person that’s fighting for their life?? I am a black male fighting and hoping for freedom one day. Wanna speak on something?? Let’s talk about freeing us Louisiana inmates still held illegally and unconstitutionally by a racist Jim Crow law through a non-retroactive 10/2 non unanimous jury,” C-Murder wrote on Instagram.

Neither has elaborated on what went down, but the possibilities are limited, considering he is in prison for life. However, Monica was working hard to raise awareness about his case. Social media posts about C-Murder have noticeably slowed down, and we finally know why.
