Caitlyn Jenner is heading back to the TV screens. Jenner is now the newest paid contributor at FOX news.
Last week, Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott said Caitlyn “will offer commentary and analysis across Fox News Channel programming. And various Fox News Media platforms.” Caitlyn will make her debut on Sean Hannity’s primetime talk show.
“Caitlyn’s story is an inspiration to us all,” Scott says. “She is a trailblazer in the LGBTQ+ community. And her illustrious career spans a variety of fields that will be a tremendous asset for our audience.”
Caitlyn says she is excited and grateful for the opportunity.
“I am humbled by this unique opportunity to speak directly to Fox News Media’s millions of viewers. About a range of issues that are important to the American people,” Caitlyn says.
Last year, Caitlyn ran for governor for the state of California. However, her campaign came in 13th place amongst candidates seeking to replace Gavin Newsom. Unfortunately, Newsom was re-elected, winning the race over top GOP contender Larry Elder.
Nevertheless, Caitlyn continued her activism on behalf of transgender Americans. Last week, Caitlyn supported Gov. Ron DeSantis for his opinion on the transgender swimmer Lis Thomas. Lia won the 500-yard NCAA women’s championship over Emma Weyant.
“By allowing men to compete in women’s sports. The NCAA is destroying opportunities for women. Making a mockery of its championships. And perpetuating a fraud,” DeSantis tweeted. “In Florida, we reject these lies and recognize Sarasota’s Emma Weyant as the best women’s swimmer in the 500y freestyle.”
Caitlyn later sided with the governor saying, “@GovRonDeSantis agreed! She is the rightful winner! It’s not transphobic or anti-trans, it’s COMMON SENSE!”
