Tennessee Titans cornerback Caleb Farley has been dealt a devastating blow with the loss of his father in a home explosion.
Robert Farley lost his life Monday night when his son’s Mooresville, North Carolina, home exploded. His body was found in the bedroom area under the debris after the 6,391-square-foot home was leveled. The cars also parked at the house were also destroyed. Another person was hurt in the incident, but his injuries are said to be non-life-threatening. According to The New York Post, neighbors smelled gas moments before the home blew up.

The latest loss is another tragic blow to Caleb, who lost his mother, Robin, to breast cancer in January 2018. When Titans coach Mike Vrabel caught wind of the tragedy, he informed the team on Tuesday, who all gathered in prayer for the player.
“It’s shocking. We’ve gotta focus on Caleb and his family and how we can support him,” Vrabel told ESPN.
Photos shared by WSOC show the pile of rubble where the mansion once stood. It does not appear that the surrounding homes were damaged in the blast. The house was reportedly worth over $3 million. As of now, the cause of the explosion is under investigation, with natural gas lines being the subject of the probe. Authorities do not suspect arson in the case. Caleb, who is still recovering from a back injury, has not yet commented publicly on the matter. Let’s continue to keep his family in our thoughts and prayers.
