Jasmin Brown and Cam Newton are expecting a new bundle of joy.
On Sunday, May 11th, his girlfriend Brown appeared to announce her pregnancy in a heartfelt Mother’s Day Instagram post. Wearing an open white robe and cradling her bare belly, Brown wrote, “Feeling ALL the Love, kicks and elbows,” adding, “Cheers to our growing tribe,” tagging it with the Happy Mother’s Day hashtag.
Brown and Newton welcomed their first child, a daughter, in March 2024. Newton is also the father of seven other children from previous relationships. He shares four kids with ex-girlfriend Kia Proctor: Chosen Sebastian, Camidas Swain, Cashmere Saint, and Sovereign-Dior Cambella, and co-parents her eldest daughter, Shakira. He also shares a son, Caesar, with LaReina Shaw, and helps raise Shaw’s older son, Jaden.
Brown expanded on her joy in an Instagram Story, saying, “I truly believe my daughter is so happy because I was a HAPPY pregnant woman and I am a HAPPY mother! I didn’t feed into the judgment or negativity. (Still don’t).” She continued, “I choose happiness over everything. (Still do)… Protecting my peace is everything! It means to protect my womb child’s peace. And I am extremely intentional about that.”
In February, the former football star told PEOPLE, “Did I tell you I want more?” adding, “My kids really give me my purpose…They’re my refuge. They’re my peace. They’re my encouragement.”
