Jason Whitlock is a name that doesn’t come up often in the sports media space these days, and when it does, it’s usually tied to controversy.
This time is no different, as Whitlock used his platform to share his thoughts on the FOX Sports lawsuit involving his former colleagues, Skip Bayless and Joy Taylor.

Whitlock made several outlandish claims about Taylor, referring to her as a “symbol of this whole feminist movement.”
“This whole Black queens movement, this whole DEI movement. This whole sharing everything with women, and, ‘Hey, there’s gotta be a woman host on all of these shows.’ Well, there are consequences to that, and this whole system has been set up to create the kind of chaos and division and inefficiency and corruption that we’re seeing spelled out in this lawsuit, [and] all across American media,” Whitlock said.
The use of the word “consequences” appeared to lack awareness, and Whitlock continued his comments with remarks about Taylor’s appearance, mentioning the size of her breasts and describing her as having “peanut butter skin.”
Former NFL MVP Cam Newton addressed the unprofessionalism and disrespect of Whitlock’s comments during his show, 4th and 1 with Cam Newton.
“You’re not that guy, pal,” Newton said, staring directly into the camera. “‘That big rack of hers,’ that’s inappropriate. ‘That butter skin,’ that’s inappropriate. Like, you’re not that guy, so to comment on something like this, stay in your lane. Whether Joy did what she did, if the accusations are true or not, stay in your lane, Jason. All right?”
Newton made it clear he doesn’t view Whitlock as someone who should be commenting on such matters,
