Cam Newton has officially welcomed his ninth child. The NFL star shared the news during an upcoming episode of The Tamron Hall Show when host Tamron Hall asked about the pregnancy.
“So we’re expecting your ninth baby?” she asked, according to a clip from an upcoming interview obtained by Us Weekly.
Newton responded with a smile, “Oh, he’s already here,” as the audience erupted into applause. Although the birth is now public, Newton and his girlfriend, Jasmin Brown, have not disclosed the baby’s name. Brown also shared a photo of her breastfeeding their baby boy after the story went viral.
This new arrival marks Newton’s second child with Brown. The pair are already parents to a baby girl born in March 2024. In addition to his children with Brown, Newton is a father to seven other kids from previous relationships.
Newton shares four children with his ex-girlfriend Kia Proctor, including sons Chosen Sebastian, Camidas Swain, and Cashmere Saint, along with daughter Sovereign-Dior Cambella. He also helps raise Proctor’s older daughter, Shakira.
He is a father to two children with photographer LaReina Shaw. Their son Caesar is their shared child, and Newton also helps raise Shaw’s older son, Jaden, from a previous relationship.
